Staff Management | SMX, a leader in the staffing industry, won a Platinum award in the Company and Organization category in the 2021 Titan Business Awards for finding innovative ways to connect people and work during the pandemic.
Honored in the employment subcategory, Staff Management | SMX’s nomination told the story of how the company connected 93,000 people with work in 2020, helping keep essential businesses operating and keeping the supply chain moving. They partnered with companies to make PPE and hand sanitizer and are now partnering on vaccine delivery and call center appointments. Part of the reason for this success was the use of Stafftrack, its proprietary hiring and workforce management tool that brings in the right people at the right time, including mobile recruiting, onboarding and engagements, and allows associates to manage work through its mobile app, which was introduced in 2020.
Even as COVID-19 drove up unemployment rates, essential companies were still hiring and Staff Management | SMX’s recruiting team created a way to recruit, interview and hire while keeping applicants and recruiters safe and healthy using Stafftrack and its updated Stafftrack mobile app.
“By using a mix of technology and creativity, our Staff Management | SMX teams were able to connect people and work and keep essential businesses running across the supply chain,” said Carl Schweihs, president of TrueBlue’s PeopleManagement division, which oversees Staff Management | SMX. “I am extremely proud of the work our Staff Management | SMX teams did to connect people and work in 2020 and congratulate them on this well-deserved honor.”
The award is run by International Awards Associate (IAA) and recognizes business, entrepreneurial and workplace strategy and culture achievements across industries. This year’s awards featured more than 650 nominations from around the world.
“We celebrate the remarkable Titan-like achievements of a wide range of organizations, from all industries, as well as their efforts to better both the workspace and company culture,” said Kenjo Ong, CEO of IAA.
